35 Series Spading Machine
The principal features of the 35 series spading machines are
their simplicity and solid construction that makes them the ideal
single pass tillage tool. The narrower models are used primarily
by landscapers, greenhouses, nurseries, vineyards, and organic
farmers. The wider models are utilized for general field cultivation
and as a replacement to the plow. An Imants spading machine can
incorporate large amounts of organic material, such as crop residue,
straw, compost or green manure. With regular use, both the aerobic
quality of the soil and drainage is greatly improved, while fields
may be prepared for planting in just one pass with use of the
spader with power harrow. The spading machines are available
in various sizes and models. The lightweight model comes working
widths from 4 ft to 6ft for tractors up to 70hp. Heavier duty
models are available in working widths from 6ft up to 9.5 ft.
All can be fitted with a power harrow or rotovator as well. A
seed drill or bed-shaping device can also be attached on most
models using an extra 3-point linkage, thus allowing the soil
to be tilled and sown in a single pass.

45 Series Spading Machine
The 45 series spading machines are generally used in tree nurseries,
vineyards, and other applications where a greater working depth
(up to 20) is required. Also, the larger amount of tunnel
space inside of the machine and faster rotation of the spadebanks
allows for a higher working speed and more thorough mixing and
incorporation of cover crops, soil amendments, etc. Available
in various working widths from 4ft up to 15ft in many different
model types and configurations. Options include hydraulic harrow
control, torque limiting clutch, bolt-on spades, and heavy-duty
SP arms for stony soil conditions.

47 Series Revolution High-speed spader
The Imants Revolution one-pass cultivator - Offers
all the advantages of soil spading to those requiring a faster
working speed for higher acreages. Specially designed spade arms,
harrow, and rotor tunnel allows a doubling of working speed from
the 35 and 45 series machines when driving the traditional plow
depth of 12-14 Available in working width from 8ft up to
10ft, for tractors up to 150hp.

50 Series Revolution High-speed spader
The 50 series revolution incorporates all the advantages of the
47 series machine, plus the added advantage of a extra heavy
duty Planetary gear drive train to accommodate tractors up to
300hp. Add all this and with working widths up to 20 ft possible
and the Imants 50 series revolution can outperform any other
tillage combination available on the market today in terms of
output and quality of finish.

60 Series Spading Machines
The 60 series machine is built to work to a depth of 24 inches,
therefore eliminating the need to subsoil. This machine is used
to break up compacted soil layers and to mix the soil thoroughly.
The machine is popular for initial soil preparation of orchards,
vineyards, nurseries and other perennial crops where proper compaction
relief and drainage /aeration improvement is critical to healthy
plant health. |

70 Series Deep Spader
A brand new revolution 70 series was released at the end of 2004.
The main purpose of this machine is to work the soil up to greater
depths. Meaning 60-90 cm. (2-3 feet) The machines has the same
driveline as the 50-series machine. This means a central gearbox
and on each side two planetary gearboxes. The machine can cope
with 300 Hp and can be equipped with a power harrow or a rotovator
to give a nice seedbed.

Deep Spader
A deep spader is a machine, which works the soil to depths deeper
than 24, with models that can work down to a maximum depth
of up to 50. In some circumstances it is necessary to loosen
the soil at extreme depths. This could be where there are compacted
layers in the subsoil, or if one wants to mix soil layers of
different compositions, impoverishing clay with sand for example.
For asparagus fields too, where the asparagus plants will be
growing for a long time on the same piece of ground, the subsoil
must usually be loosened to a depth of 100 centimeters to give
the asparagus roots a chance to spread. We distinguish between
two different types of construction with the deep spaders, namely
the carried and the drawn machines. For the carried machines,
which weigh more than 3500 kg, a tractor with sufficient frame
strength is always required. The spading machine is mounted on
to the tractor in a fixed position, thus eliminating the need
for draw bar lifting device, but has the disadvantage that the
spading machine cannot be unhitched very quickly. The working
depth is adjusted using the cylinders of the spading machine
itself and it can therefore be lifted totally free from the ground.
This construction makes the combination highly maneuverable and
easy to use in small areas. For the drawn machine, the spading
machine hangs in a frame, on the front of which is a draw bar
and a set of wheels at the rear. This makes hitching the machine
to the tractor very easy. With this machine too, the working
depth is adjusted using the cylinders on the spading machine.
The drawn version of this machine is less maneuverable and therefore
more suitable for larger areas. An additional advantage is that
the wheels flatten the loosened soil out. |

JNC Rotovators
Imants manufactures a complete line of quality built rotovators,
available in many working widths, model types, and designs. Over
the years, the JNC rotary cultivator has built up a soil reputation
as a high-quality, reliable machine. Unique features of these
units are their robust, direct-drive gearbox design, which eliminates
the need for chains and drive sprockets. The advantage of this
to the operator lies less machine maintenance, and working width
that is the same as the overall working width- allowing closer
work up to fencepost and tight row configurations. Available
in working widths from 36 up to 100, in both standard
and r3everse tine configurations. Available options include crumble
cages, packing rollers, and seed drills. |
